1988 batch IAS officer Arvind Kumar appointed Advisor, Industries for UP CM

Lucknow: Arvind Kumar, a 1988 batch IAS officer who retired recently, has been appointed Advisor, Industries, for Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Kumar retired on February 28 as Commissioner, Infrastructure and Industrial Development.
Kumar also served as an Additional Chief Secretary, Power Department. As Commissioner, Infrastructure and Industrial Development, Kumar played a critical role in successfully organizing the Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit-2023.
The Global Investors Summit-2023 had guests from 40 countries and representatives of 36 countries. According to official claims, almost 10,000 investors showed up in the summit to make investments in UP and there were commitments of more than Rs 33.50 lakh crore as industrial investment. /BI/
