40 IAS officers transferred in Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow: Effecting a major bureaucratic rejig, the Uttar Pradesh government has announced reshuffle and transfer of 40 senior IAS officers. As per the official order, senior IAS officer Prathamesh Kumar has been appointed new Special Secretary to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Anita Meshram has been appointed the Chief Staff Officer (CSO) of the Chief Secretary.
V Hekali Zhimomi has been transferred and posted as the new Principal Secretary for the State's Child Development and Nutrition Department, while Badaun District Magistrate Kumar Prashant has been assigned the post of Special Secretary to the Home Minister.
Bareilly Divisional Commissioner Ranvir Prasad has been shifted as Relief Commissioner, IAS officer Pankaj Kumar, Principal Staff Officer, Chief Secretary, is named as new Managing Director of the Uttar Pradesh Power Transmission Corporation Limited (UPPCL).
The order further states that Moradabad Commissioner Virendra Kumar Singh has been posted as the Managing Director of the Pradeshik Cooperative Dairy Federation (PCDF).
Chitrakoot District Magistrate Shesh Mani Pandey will now work as Special Secretary, Handloom, whereas IAS officer Prem Prakash Meena, Special Secretary, Labour, will be the new Joint Magistrate of Chandauli.
Krishna Kumar, who earlier held the post of Additional IG, Stamp and Registration, has now been named as the Special Secretary, APC and has been replaced by PC Srivastava.
Among other IAS officers transferred include Devendra Kushwaha, who has been posted as Special Secretary, APC while Vipin Jain has been elevated as Joint MD of Jal Nigam.
IAS officer Krishna Kumar Gupta has been appointed as Joint State Election Officer and Dr Vijay Kumar Singh is posted as the Rajya Sampatti Adhikari.
IAS officer Anjani Kumar Singh has been appointed Director, Mandi, and Dinesh Chand is posted as Special Secretary, Culture.
Ashutosh Niranjan will be new DM Deoria and Deepa Ranjan is now the District Magistrate of Badaun, while Shubhrant Shukla, Ravindra Mandar and Jitendra Kumar Singh have been posted as the DM for Chitrakoot, Rampur, and Kanpur Dehat. /BI/
