Centre reshuffles 17 IAS, 10 IPS officers

New Delhi: The Central government has reshuffled 17 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and 10 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers with immediate effect. According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Santosh D Vaidya, a 1998 batch IAS officer has been shifted to Andaman and Nicobar Islands (A&NI) from Delhi, while Kunal, 2005 batch officer has been moved to Delhi from Goa.

Niharika Rai, an IAS officer of 2005 batch has been moved to Delhi from Arunachal Pradesh, Ramesh Verma (2009) to Goa from Delhi, RN Sharma (2010) to Delhi from A&NI, Kulanand Joshi (2010) to Delhi from A&NI, Danish Ashraf (2011) to Delhi from Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu (DNH&DD), Pooja Jain (2011) to Delhi from DNH&DD, Indu Shekhar Mishra (2011) and Pooja Joshi (2011) from A&NI to Delhi.

According to the order, Naveen SL (2012) has been moved to Delhi from Mizoram, Kinny Singh (2014) to Delhi from Arunachal Pradesh, Ankita Anand (2015) to DNH&DD from Goa, Mekala Chaitanya Prasad (2015) to DNH&DD from Goa, Purva Garg (2015) to Chandigarh from Puducherry, Bhanu Prabha (2015) to DNH&DD from Arunachal Pradesh, and Kumar Abhishek (2016) to Delhi from Mizoram.

Among IPS officers, Madhup Kumar Tiwari (1995) has been shifted from A&NI to Delhi, Michi Paku (2004) from Delhi to Arunachal Pradesh, Parwaiz Ahmed (2004) from Delhi to Mizoram, Madhur Varma (2005) from Arunachal Pradesh to Delhi, Deeepak Purohit (2007) from Delhi to Chandigarh, Chandan Chowdhary (2010) from Arunachal Pradesh to Delhi, Darade Sharad Bhaskar (2013) from DNH&DD to Arunachal Pradesh, Shashank Jaiswal (2014) from Mizoram to Delhi, Fulzele Piyush Nirakar (2015) from Arunachal Pradesh to DNH&DD, and Narra Chaitanya (2017) from A&NI to Puducherry. /BI/
