Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal sanctions aid of Rs 10 lakh for the family of Kanjhawala victim

New Delhi: Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has lived up to his promise once again by sanctioning an aid of Rs 10 lakh for the family of the victim of Kanjhawala horror tragedy.
The CM had talked to the victim’s mother and announced an aid of Rs 10 lakh for her family just three days back. After taking up the necessary official procedures, the Delhi Government sanctioned the financial aid for the victim’s family.
Notably, the Delhi Government will also ensure proper treatment for the ailing mother of the Kanjhawala victim and arrange for the best criminal lawyer to fight the case besides providing any other necessary help to the family.
Taking to Twitter, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal wrote: “Anjali's painful death shocked the entire nation. Her life cannot be compensated for, but to help her family, an aid of Rs 10 lakh has been sanctioned by the Delhi government today. We are completely in support of her family and will help them in every way.” /BI/
