Gujarat government orders transfer of 2 IAS Officers

Gandhinagar: The Gujarat government recently conducted a reshuffle within its administrative ranks, transferring two Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers.
PD Palsana, who previously served as the Managing Director of the Gujarat State Medical Service Corporation Ltd, has been transferred to the post of Joint Secretary in the Agriculture, Farmers Welfare & Co-operation department. This new role will entail overseeing and coordinating various initiatives related to agriculture, farmer welfare, and cooperative activities.
Dr. Navnath Kondiba Gavhane, the Additional Rural Development Commissioner, has been transferred to fill PD Palsana's previous position. Dr. Navnath will also assume the additional responsibility of Chief Personnel Officer of the Commissioner of Health, Medical Services & Medical Education, relieving PD Palsana of his duties in that capacity until further notice. /BI
