Massive administrative reshuffle in Maharashtra, 14 IAS officers transferred

Mumbai: Maharashtra Government led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has carried out a massive administrative reshuffle by transferring as many as 43 IAS officers. According to an official order, Additional Chief Secretary, Health, Dr Pradeep Vyas has been transferred to Tribal Welfare Department. He has been replaced by Sanjay Khandare, Managing Director, Mahagenco.

Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) chief P Anbalagan is the new MD of Mahagenco, while Thane Municipal Commissioner Vipin Sharma has been appointed the MIDC chief. Tukaram Mundhe is the new State Health Commissioner, while Ashvini Joshi will head the Medical Education Department. Saurabh Vijay will look after the Tourism Department as its Secretary.

Valsa Nair is the new Principal Secretary, Housing, while Milind Mhaiskar will take care of the Civil Aviation Department. Pravin Darade has been made Secretary, Environment. Vivek Bhimanwar is the new Transport Commissioner, while Deepak Kapoor has been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary, Irrigation.

Harshdeep Singh is the new Industries Secretary. Abhijeet Bangar has been posted as the Commissioner of Thane Municipal Corporation. Rajesh Narvekar will be joining NMMC as its Commissioner. State Pollution Control Board Secretary Ashok Shingare is the new Collector of Thane. Jayshree Bhoj has been transferred as Director General, Information and Public Relations. IRS officer Shraddha Joshi has been appointed as MTDC chief. /BI/
