New Delhi: MG Motor India, a British automobile brand with a 99-year history, has welcomed participants for the fourth edition of 'Drive Her Back,' an initiative aimed at empowering women to re-establish their careers after a break.

This unique program provides women with equal and inclusive employment opportunities in various verticals of the company, providing a respectable platform for women from different backgrounds and communities to resume their careers. In addition, Season 4 will also benefit the spouses of current employees at MG Motor.

The 'Drive Her Back' initiative offers coaching and internal mentoring to women to ensure a smooth transition to the corporate environment. This program also includes networking opportunities and professional development resources for all participants. In the previous season, Season 3, the initiative received more than 1,500 applications and successfully empowered over 60 women to begin their careers in various fields at MG Motor.

"We are committed to inclusivity and strive to build a diverse and talented workforce where all employees have access to equal opportunities. The fourth season of the 'Drive Her Back' initiative is a testament to our dedication to empowering women and promoting gender diversity within our company. Through such programs, we aim to develop a highly skilled pool of women who can make meaningful contributions to our organization and the industry as a whole," said Yeshwinder Patial, Senior Director of Human Resources at MG Motor India.

In India, a significant number of women leave the corporate workforce for various reasons. However, returning to work after taking a break can be challenging for many women as they often struggle to secure lucrative job opportunities due to their gap years. /BI/
