Nivea India appoints Geetika Mehta as Managing Director

New Delhi. Nivea India, a leading player in the personal care products industry, announced the appointment of Geetika Mehta as its new Managing Director. Mehta joins Nivea India from Hershey India, where she served as Managing Director since July 2021, making a significant impact on the confectionery industry. Prior to her tenure at Hershey India, she spent nearly two decades contributing to the success of Hindustan Unilever Ltd, holding various pivotal roles across different divisions.
Known for her distinguished career in the FMCG sector, Geetika Mehta is recognized for her ability to develop small businesses and efficiently manage large-scale corporations. Her extensive experience spans diverse markets, including South Asia, Thailand, Brazil, and South Africa.
In a statement, Nivea India expressed confidence in Geetika's ability to lead the company toward continued success. "Geetika, with her proven track record and strategic vision, aligns seamlessly with Nivea India’s objective of providing consumers with superior product quality in line with its care proposition," the company stated in the official release.
