New Delhi: In a significant move towards enhancing digital customer engagement, the State Bank of India (SBI) has announced a strategic partnership with HCL Software, the software business unit of HCL Technologies. Under this collaboration, HCL Software will provide its MarTech solution to bolster SBI’s digital transformation endeavors.

The partnership, structured under a five-year agreement, will see the deployment of the HCL Unica platform. This platform aims to revolutionize SBI's customer interaction framework by facilitating hyper-personalized communication across various digital marketing channels. Importantly, the implementation will be in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA) and other rigorous security standards.

HCL Unica boasts advanced features such as a Customer Data Platform and AI capabilities, enabling real-time data utilization for enhancing customer engagement. By leveraging these tools, SBI aims to streamline its digital marketing campaigns, ensuring precision and relevance in customer interactions.

Rajiv Shesh, Chief Revenue Officer at HCL Software, expressed pride in the company's role in enabling one of the largest banking transformations globally. He highlighted the innovative capabilities of HCL Unica in delivering digital transformation at scale and emphasized its potential to elevate customer engagement and experience for SBI.

One of the key components of the collaboration is the utilization of HCL Unica's Customer Data Platform.
