An Independent Initiative to Celebrate Good Governance

About Bureaucrats India

'Bureaucrats India is an independent initiative designed to bring out into the public domain stories of good governance by bureaucrats across India, both at the Central and State Government levels. It also aims to capture best practices and stories of good governance by India’s public sector undertaking. The corporate sector’s stories of change, hope and yearnings of a New India are also captured here.

This initiative is designed and managed by GreyMatters Communications & Consulting Pvt Ltd, India’s leading communications & digital media company, with over a decade of experience in government and political communication.

The Bureaucrats India initiative, in its digital and offline formats, strives to populate the public sphere with good work being done by our dynamic bureaucrats including IAS, IPS, IRS, IFS and multiple other services across India. These are stories that we wish to celebrate and to take to every house of India, for understanding the length and breadth of governance that impact our lives every day.

We constantly endeavor to be the first source of credible information as far as good practices of bureaucracy are concerned. Bureaucrats India strives to be a vibrant platform for highlighting the latest updates and information about transfers and postings of senior officers at Central and State level as well as public sector undertakings. It shall also have a forum for carrying out credible discussions on compelling public affairs and public policy issues. It keeps a sharp focus on use and deployment of technology in governance.

It is supported by a group of senior civil servants, public policy experts, development professionals, former officials, and domain experts including political scientists, sociologists, psychologists, economists, public affairs specialists, social media professionals, corporate leaders.

The initiative also aims to inspire & reinforce people’s faith in governments, governance and strengthen democracy.
