NTPC Bongaigaon plants over 50 saplings on World Earth Day

Guwahati: NTPC Bongaigaon reaffirmed its commitment to environmental sustainability by planting more than 50 saplings on World Earth Day. Led by K C Muraleedharan, the Chief General Manager and Business Unit Head of NTPC Bongaigaon, the senior management led the plantation initiative within the premises of the plant.
Speaking on the occasion, K C Muraleedharan emphasized NTPC's broader mission to inspire collective action against climate change, involving governments, businesses, and individuals. He highlighted NTPC Bongaigaon's specific efforts aimed at building a healthier planet for all stakeholders.
Joining Muraleedharan in this green endeavor were key personnel including Induri S Reddy, General Manager (Operations), Asutosh Biswas, General Manager (Operation), and Somnath Bhattacharya, Assistant General Manager responsible for Business Excellence and In-charge of Environmental Management and Ash Utilization. Heads of Departments and employees from various sections also actively participated in the plantation program.
