Shimla: The Himachal Pradesh government has ordered a major administrative reshuffle, transferring 8 IAS and 1 IFS officer, along with several HPAS officers, with immediate effect. The changes were approved on the recommendations of the Civil Services Board, according to official notifications issued by the Department of Personnel.
Sandeep Kumar, IAS (HP:2010), previously serving as Settlement Officer, Kangra Division at Dharamshala while holding additional charge as Divisional Commissioner, has now been appointed Divisional Commissioner, Kangra Division, Dharamshala.
Duni Chand Rana, IAS (HP:2014), Director-cum-Ex-Officio Special Secretary (Revenue and Disaster Management), has been posted as Managing Director, HPMC, Shimla. He will continue to hold additional charge as Managing Director of H.P. Agro Industries Corporation Ltd. and H.P. Agro Industrial Packaging India Ltd.
Ram Kumar Gautam, IAS (HP:2014), Director, Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, has been appointed Managing Director, H.P. State Agriculture Marketing Board, relieving Hemis Negi, IAS (HP:2019), of the additional charge.
Kumud Singh, IAS (HP:2015), has been transferred from Settlement Officer, Shimla Division and appointed Director, Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Himachal Pradesh.
Vinay Singh, IAS (HP:2015), Managing Director, HPMC, who was also holding additional charges in allied corporations, has been appointed Managing Director, H.P. State Co-operative Bank Ltd., Shimla.
Manesh Kumar, IAS (HP:2018), Resident Commissioner, Pangi (Chamba district), has been posted as Settlement Officer, Shimla Division.
Akshay Sood, IAS (HP:2020), Director, Technical Education, has been appointed Settlement Officer, Kangra Division at Dharamshala.
Divij Goyal, IAS (HP:2023), District Development Officer, Nahan (Sirmaur), has been posted as Sub Divisional Officer (Civil), Paonta Sahib.
Pushpendra Rana, IFS (HP:1999), has been appointed Director, Environment, Science & Technology, Himachal Pradesh. He will also hold additional charge as Director, Disaster Management and Member Secretary of the H.P. State Council for Science, Technology & Environment.

Shravan Kumar (HPAS:2008), Managing Director, H.P. State Co-operative Bank, has been appointed Executive Director, H.P. State Civil Supplies Corporation, relieving Sachin Kanwal (HPAS:2009) of the additional charge.
Raman Gharsangi (HPAS:2017), previously awaiting posting, has been appointed General Manager (Personnel) at SVP Dharamshala, relieving Subhash Gautam (HPAS:2018) of the additional charge.
Manmohan Singh (HPAS:2017) has been posted as Assistant Commissioner to the Deputy Commissioner, Chamba.
Krishan Kumar Sharma (HPAS:2019), Joint Director, Digital Technologies and Governance (DT&G), has been appointed Sub Divisional Officer (Civil), Sarkaghat.
Gunjit Singh Cheema (HPAS:2019) has been transferred as Sub Divisional Officer (Civil), Manali, while Raman Kumar Sharma (HPAS:2020) has been posted as Sub Divisional Officer (Civil), Kafota.
Akanksha Sharma (HPAS:2021) has been appointed Land Acquisition Officer for the Parvati Project in Kullu.
Rajinder Kumar Gautam (HPAS:2022) has been posted as Joint Director, Digital Technologies and Governance (DT&G), Himachal Pradesh.
The reshuffle, carried out during the ongoing budget session, significantly realigns administrative responsibilities across key departments and districts in the state.
