MY Bharat and SOUL join hands to train one lakh youth leaders across India

New Delhi: MY Bharat, under the Department of Youth Affairs, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, has partnered with the School of Ultimate Leadership Foundation (SOUL) to launch a large-scale youth leadership initiative. The collaboration will work towards creating 100,000 youth leaders aged 18 to 29 from across the country over the next three years.

The partnership will focus on governance, public policy, social entrepreneurship, digital literacy, financial literacy, foreign policy, and communications. It will also organise conclaves, seminars, workshops, and fellowships while facilitating capacity building for youth-serving organisations and educational institutions.

An online leadership programme, set to begin in September, will be one of the first activities under this agreement. The selection of participants will follow an inclusive, pan-India approach ensuring representation from rural, urban, aspirational, tribal, women, and marginalised communities.

The MoU also includes joint research, policy advocacy, trainer exchanges, networking events, and the sharing of training material and best practices. An online quiz will be used to identify participants on a merit-based system.

This three-year agreement, extendable by mutual consent, aims to create a connected network of young leaders ready to take on roles in nation-building and community development.
