Bhopal: Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) has launched a SATHEE KENDRA at Malanjkhand in collaboration with IIT Kanpur, expanding access to quality educational resources for students in the region.
The facility was inaugurated at DAV School, Malanjkhand, by HCL Chairman and Managing Director Sanjiv Kumar Singh as part of the company’s corporate social responsibility initiatives focused on education and community development.
Developed with the support of IIT Kanpur, the SATHEE KENDRA is intended to provide students with additional academic support and learning opportunities. The initiative aims to help young learners access quality educational content and strengthen their preparation for higher studies and competitive examinations.
The new centre adds to Hindustan Copper’s ongoing efforts to support education in the areas where it operates. Through targeted CSR programmes, the company has been investing in initiatives that seek to improve access to learning, skill development and community welfare.
Officials said the collaboration with IIT Kanpur is expected to create a stronger learning environment for students in Malanjkhand by bringing educational resources and academic support closer to them.
The initiative is part of HCL’s broader approach towards community engagement, with a focus on education, healthcare, skill development and social welfare. By introducing the SATHEE KENDRA, the company aims to support students in pursuing academic excellence while creating opportunities for long-term community development.
