New Delhi: Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a leading Defence PSU, has sealed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Technology, Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. The agreement sets the stage for collaboration in Research and Technology/Product Development, focusing on Semiconductors, Quantum Technologies, and Drones.
The MoU is designed to harness the synergies between BEL and IIT-Mandi, aiming to bolster indigenous development in areas crucial to national security. By pooling their strengths and capabilities, the partnership seeks to enhance the quality and range of solutions provided by BEL to its clientele.
Aligned with the Government of India’s 'Make in India' initiative, this collaboration reflects a commitment to fostering homegrown innovation and self-reliance in defence technology. /BI
